While beautiful young girls strutting their tanned bodies in swimsuits on our television screens over the summer is not a new thing, this season’s Love Island has sparked a huge interest with the British public.
Indeed, the ITV2 show achieved viewing figures of 3.7 million last week, according to The Sun, which has made it the most popular show for the channel. This was an increase of 1.1 million on the equivalent episode during the 2017 series, proving just how many more people are glued to the reality TV show this year.
Therefore, it is not hard to see why it has had such a massive influence over young women in the country, particularly as the contestants themselves are no strangers to cosmetic treatments to enhance their natural looks.
Megan Barton-Hanson is one such star who has reportedly had aesthetic procedures in the past. It is thought the 24-year-old has spent as much as £25,000 on surgery in the past, including rhinoplasty, lip fillers and breast augmentation.
A former colleague who worked with Megan at Southend’s Sunset Strip Club revealed to Heat Magazine that the ex-stripper is “addicted to surgery”, OK! reported.
“It does get addictive, especially when you start at such a young age,” she added, stating that Megan’s dad paid for most of the work.
